Accountable Clouds Through Blockchain

We present a solution for accountability in Cloud infrastructures based on blockchain. show that, through smart contracts, it is possible to create an unforgeable log that can be used auditing and automatic Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification. As practical case study, we consider storage services define interaction protocols registering the outcome of each file operation developed prototype implementation runs GoQuorum, Hyperledger Besu, Polygon blockchains, using different consensus protocols. Using dedicated testbed, discuss performance our terms latencies, error rates gas usage. Results demonstrate viability approach over permissioned with better GoQuorum Raft decentralized systems. Our enables interoperability, given supported by Ethereum Virtual Machine which currently underlying several blockchain platforms.
